We both enjoyed it and could not put it down, but we both felt that Peretti falters at a few places.

His father’s “accidental” death suddenly isn’t looking so accidental. The entire plot is the cover-ups of an evil abortion clinic, and it suffers from the constant reminder that abortion is very, very bad. The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree.
He’s caught his producer fabricating a story and lying to cover her tracks—and she seems profefa be hiding something much bigger. Honestly, I liked it. The answer came to his mind: It’s the reason I don’t watch the news on TV, ever.

Peretti released his first-ever non-fiction book, The Wounded Spirit inwhich profetw became a best-seller. There were many times I wanted to share a story of something that had happened with someone, only to remember it was in this book I was reading.
